GALLERY: REVOLUCIÓN DE CUBA OPENS ITS DOORS IN A BLAZE OF COLOUR

The wait was finally over as Revolución de Cuba opened its doors to the public last weekend.

The rum bar and cantina in the Theatre District officially put itself on the Milton Keynes map in a kaleidoscope of colour, dance and glamour last Friday.

Samba girls, drummers, salsa dancing and live Cuban music saw the venue swing into action as guests sampled the many delights inspired by the Havana nights.

The Deputy Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Steve Coventry and the Deputy Mayoress officially opened the venue.

I really enjoyed the opening event and wish the Revolucion de Cuba Restaurant the very best for the future,” Steve said.

It offers a unique eating experience in the heart of Milton Keynes’ Theatre District, and it is great news that the restaurant will be creating 75 new jobs for Milton Keynes.”

We couldn’t have asked for a better opening,” said General Manager, Rob Macdonald. “All around people were dancing, laughing and moving to the Cuban beat. The feedback has been amazing and already people have been in touch to give their positive feedback; some are even making bookings for Christmas parties.”

Revolución de Cuba has also launched its Wednesday Salsa Social, where customers can take part in authentic salsa lessons to a live band and guest DJs. Rob adds: “It’s important to let people know that we’re more than just a place for the evening and that our daily offering includes lunchtime food, a place for people to meet for coffee or somewhere to escape the office and work from a laptop.

We have so much more to offer, this is just the beginning.”
