HOW DOES WOBURN ABBEY'S GARDEN GROW? YOUR CHANCE TO FIND OUT

If you want to know how to make your green space gorgeous, you need to ask the experts - and the Woburn Abbey Gardens team know how to cultivate a truly great garden. This Saturday and Sunday (September 6 and 7) visitors to the Abbey Gardens will be able to see the team hard at work, and ask the RHS qualified gardeners questions and advice about those pesky problems you might be facing, or how to make positive changes with the seasons. This weekend's special subjects being looked at in details are lawn care, lavender pruning and composting. The talks are at 10.30am-11.45pm and again between 2 and 4pm. Additionally, a free guided garden tour will start at noon, a chance for you to find out about the plants, trees and features of the gardens with experienced guides. All the above is included in the standard Gardens admission price, and you don't need to pre-book, just turn up on the day. If you want to know more call 01525 290333 and ask for the Gardens Department.
