MÓTUS put dance in the spotlight with the return of JUMP START to Milton Keynes

On Saturday (May 5) JUMP START returns to The Venue MK for a third year of high energy, high quality, high octane youth dance presented by MÓTUS.

Young performers from all across Milton Keynes and beyond will come together for one night only to share, celebrate and demonstrate their skill and passion for dance.

This year the platform will contain performances from more than 300 young people in a range of styles including Contemporary, Street Dance, Tap and Jazz.

Chris Bradley-Goodship, who produces the platform, said “JUMP START 18 is shaping up to be our best and definitely our biggest platform yet”

“It’s really important for these incredible young people to see the work of their peers and this is a great opportunity for them to show off just how talented they are.”

JUMP START 18 will welcome local performing arts schools including Arts1, Leanne Hughes Theatre School and Coles Forsyth Academy and students from Walton High to the platform alongside companies from further afield like Urban Strides and Hampshire Youth Dance Company.

MÓTUS might be familiar to you as producers of JUMP START and of the spectacular dance element of October’s Feast Of Fire that took place outside the old Waitrose building.

They also stage a dynamic dance festival that takes place right here in Milton Keynes. The festival will be returning to the city in June.

JUMP START 18 goes curtains up at 7.30pm at The Venue MK.

Tickets cost £11/£9 and are available from The Venue website here
