Musicians Against Homelessness unite in Milton Keynes

The next Musicians Against Homelessness bash in Milton Keynes is set for June 8.

Bletchley's Scots Club is the hosting venue, and instead of purchasing a ticket for the event, attendees can do their bit to raise funds for Crisis by putting loose change (and who knows, maybe some of those nice bits of crinkly paper with HRH's head on) in the collection buckets when they pass by.

Similar events in town since September have so far swelled the coffers by more than £1000.

This time around, Liverpudlian band Columbia will perform live, with other sets during the day coming courtesy of Mehtab Culling, Miller and Walker, Lost The Plot, Oddity Island,  Jono and The Uke Dealers, Longbottom Leaf, Project Noise and Taylor Smith.
Billy Nomad will be your event host.

The bands won't just be showing their prowess at the fret – there will be a fundraising footie match too, a fun Northern Vs South divide, and Billy will be at play on the pitch too.

Want to show you football skills? Anyone of any age is welcome to try and beat the keeper, and show their abilities with keepy-uppy's!
Music and football aside, there will be plenty of stalls to take attentions, cool artwork for sale and fire entertainer Mark Escott will be smoking, in a manner of speaking.

Poetic fairy Kezzebella will be on site, a martial arts exhibition will make you wish you could do what they can, and Black Sheep Collective will wow with their cool human statues.

You'll not get peckish either, with food and drinks vendors on site.
Go have some fun, and put pennies in the pots to help others who are less fortunate.

The all-day event begins at 1pm.
