PHILATELIC SOCIETY STAMPS ITS MARK ON BLETCHLEY

Members of the Milton Keynes Philatelic Society will be holding their last Stamp Fair of the year on Saturday (November 14) at the Methodist Hall, Queensway in Bletchley.

There aren't likely to be any problems at this bash either – organisers reckon they've got these events well and truly licked!

Stamp loving dealers and club members will have an array of stamps, postcards, FDCs and coins to tempt you with, and the late Bletchley Park Post Office will be showing up, with a rare opportunity to purchase the last of their special covers. There are some crackers too. Refreshments are available from the moment you arrive, with everything from hot savouries to cherry pie and custard, and the kettle is permanently on for hot drinks to have with your homemade cakes, so you'll not go hungry while you peruse and purchase.  If you are thinking of joining the club, this is a great, no-pressure opportunity to pop along and meet everyone first. The event runs between 10am and 4pm. Get more information by calling1908 521220 or click and visit www.miltonkeynesphilatelicsociety.co.uk
