Ready, steady, shop! Handmade & Vintage is at centre:mk all weekend

Feeling like treating yourselves?  Or are you still desperately on the hunt for something special for Mother's Day with less than 24 hours to go?

Worry not, and instead make tracks to the Handmade & Vintage Fair, which is occupying Middleton Hall at centre:mk again all weekend.

Total MK visited early doors this morning and was once again wowed by the vast array of unique items ready to tempt you.

Antique, upcycled and recycled goods are plentiful among the 120 or so stalls, which will shake awake memories of your youth, and make you reach for that plastic pal!

Retro books, jukeboxes, rock n roll memorabilia, handmade clothing, clever artwork and cute teddybears are just a fraction of the goodies for sale.

Jewellery (some cut while you wait), tasty treats (including vegan cakes and soups) and briefcases that play music (seriously) all have a place here, and we've barely scratched the surface.  Vinyl, furnishings, furniture and fashions all jostle for attentions.

Our favourites include the unusual decorative items offered by Brocant, and the wonderfully warm animal prints by Talia Giles.

H&V is great chance to hunt out special pieces, and support independent traders.

Admission is free, and the fair is open during usual shopping hours.

Go on...have a rummage!
