Traditional village church in Milton Keynes to celebrate 800th anniversary with flypast

With a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster scheduled during the afternoon, this celebration fete centred on All Saints’ Church in Loughton on Saturday (June 9) is sure to attract a wide range of visitors.

Open from midday to 4pm, the fete will include stalls and activities aplenty.

There will be craft stalls, including jewellery and textiles, a china and glass stall, games for children, a story teller, Morris dancing by Rapskallian, with a BBQ and other refreshments in the church.

There will also be a display of artwork on the theme of ‘Loughton’ from local school children, together with baking, knitting and sewing competitions judged by members of Loughton WI.
