Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Muse all showed their appreciation of artist Storm Thorgerson by making use of his designs on album sleeves.
Storm's work with dozens of rock and alternative artists means that his creativity sits in millions of record collections worldwide.
It was his design that called you toward Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon opus, and his flair that saw numerous other artists flock his way – from Peter Gabriel and Black Sabbath to Biffy Clyro.
Storm passed away two years ago this month, but StormStudios are offering one fan a decidedly cool prize in their current competition – the opportunity to win a fine art print signed by Storm himself.
The print of Let You Hair Down was designed for The Steve Miller Band. It was one of Storm's most favoured works from recent years.
It has been valued at £300, and could be yours if you sign up to the StormStudios newsletter at www.demiloart.com/newsletter-archive and answer a simple question.
The competition runs through to the end of April.
Good luck!
