Bottoms up for the return of CAMRA's Concrete Pint Beer Festival

Raise your glasses and give a hearty 'Cheers!' for the Concrete Pint is back this week.

There have been plenty of setbacks and problems, not least including venue uncertainty, but its great to tell you that the CAMRA Concrete Pint Beer Festival WILL serve the wet stuff from Wednesday (October 19) in Milton Keynes.

And it'll be happening in the same venue as previously - at The Buszy in the heart of town, which is perfect for those of you who want to leave the motor at home and tickle your tastebuds - with great public transport links, whether you come by bus or rail.

90 casks of real ale will be lined-up smart, with a good source of ciders and bottle Belgian beers too.

There will be a focus on beers from the area as well - including some from each of the three Milton Keynes breweries, and cider from the Virtual Orchard.

This 23rd annual CAMRA event in Milton Keynes does think of the non-beer boozers among you though, and will also serve up Prosecco, and free soft drinks and water.
Entry is £10 on the door, and in exchange you get a festival glass, programme and a starter sheet of beet tokens.
undamaged glasses and unused tokens are fully refundable.

On Thursday night you can sup with sound, when mellow-yet-lively harmony trio TC3 play for you, and there will be more live music on Saturday (October 22) with blues sorts the 2120s.

Food will be served daily, including - on Saturday - Saf's Kitchen, which offers fine Indian food including veggie, began and gluten free.
