Toseland make a long-overdue return to the new city this week, when they head back to The Craufurd Arms in Wolverton.
The band, fronted by former world super bike champion James Toseland, have a new double A-side single Fingers Burned/Bullet to promote just now, and Thursday's (April 13) date it the last UK show before they hop over to Europe as main support to The Brew.
Taken from our archives, James goes On Track with Total MK...
Tell us about the first record you bought/downloaded
Crossroads (Bon Jovi)! Living on a Prayer was never off the radio and everywhere I seemed to go but the whole album was full of hits.
An album that you can't live without - and why
Guns & Roses (Appetite for Destruction) Absolute beast of G & R for me and every track is just such high energy!
Most embarrassing record in your collection
Back Street Boys! Can't explain how it ended up on my shelf and probably best left at that! Ha.
Your favourite cheesy disc (it will be our secret...)
It has to be Lionel Ritchie! The ultimate cheesy legend
An album you wish you'd bought, but didn't
Queen (Live at Wembley). One of the best live concerts still ever played I think.
What about your favourite artist of all time? What is the attraction?
Freddie Mercury. Queen were the first rock band I ever heard and I became a massive fan of their music. I loved Freddy's 'I'll do what the hell I like' attitude to life and for me he is still one the best lead men/vocalist there's ever been.
If we could grant you a wish to meet one musician or band, who would it be and why?
Queen/Freddie Mercury. They have been one of those bands that have influenced my taste in music throughout my life and with growing up with their music I have some amazing memories that go with Queens tracks.
What question would you ask them?
I'd like to ask each individual member, "Was Queens music everything you hoped to be playing when you were growing up as a young musician"
Name a song that never fails to pick you up
Rock N Roll (Led Zeppelin)
And one that chills you out...
Love over Gold (Dire Straits)
What was the first gig you attended
Gary Moore. God it was loud!
Tell us about your favourite record shop or online store, and what the appeal is
Because of my impatience to get something I want I'm really boring and go straight to iTunes!
You can step into the shoes of your musical idol for 24 hours. Who do you choose and what would you do?
Freddie. I would love to have done the Wembley show!
Is there a new or undiscovered artist that you think we need to hear? Spill the beans.
There was a French band called 'Boy' supporting my wife last year and I thought they were fantastic.
You can banish one artist to the bargain bin. Who do you choose?
Hey I've only just started in this industry, I'm not planning on burning and bridges just yet! Ha.
