The Dead Daisies have just announced they will tour Europe with Kiss this summer, which neatly coincides with the release of TDD's second album, Revolucion, set to hit the racks on June 1.
The UK gets to experience both bands when they stage step at this year's Download Festival.
The Dead Daisies will wow The Encore Stage at Donington, on Sunday, June 14.

How special is it to be playing at Download - the British home of rock and metal?
When I was in Motley Crue we were supposed to do the Donington Festival for our first show!!!! So being able to do it this year will fulfil a lifelong dream for me.
I'll also get to see a bunch of old friends like Kiss, Motley Crue, Slash and Billy Idol...
What can the Download faithful expect from your set? We're all very excited about the Download Festival, so I'm sure the set will be very energetic, and filled with a bunch of great classic rock songs!
How will you spend the rest of your time on site? Hopefully, depending on our travel schedule, we will be able to spend some time there and see some of the other bands perform.
But you know we have a new record out called Revolucion, so we have to get right to Paris for press commitments and our show with Kiss at Le Ritz!

Tell us about your best festival experience Well, I've never done Download before, but the Swedish rock festival has been an awesome experience and I have done a few festivals in America that were really cool as well
And what three festival essentials should Download ticket-holders be sure to pack before heading to the site? I would imagine the essentials would be beer, a chair, and a GPS to find the restrooms. See you all there!
