After forming little more than a year ago, newcomers Fizzy Blood hit the music scene with a bang.
They secured some decent UK tour supports then performed at the Download Festival and London's plump venue the KOKO last year, writes Sarah Davies.
The Leeds-based five piece are a retro inspired rock band born from ambition, determination and resilience, and go live at The Craufurd Arms this Tuesday evening (September 22).
Fizzy Blood have flourished in creating something that stands apart from the current generics of rock music and stand 'with one foot in the desert blues of Queens Of The Stone Age and another firmly rooted in the experimental, punk infused rock and roll of Pulled Apart By Horses.'
Touring with bands such as Allusondrugs, Attention Thieves and even Punk icons The Dead Kennedy's has helped their name to spread and cause headlines.
If you enjoy listening to blistering riffs combined with a modern songwriting ethos, you should know that doors for this blazing event will be open from 7:30pm.
Tickets are available for a measly £6, and support is coming from Cairo Son.
