An audience of hundreds welcomed Stereo Kicks back to Milton Keynes earlier today (June 25).
The X-Factor stars – who appeared at stadium:mk earlier in the year - paid a visit to thecentre:mk to sign copies of their debut single, Love Me So.
The band spent two hours in town, at BHS, even treating the assembled to an acoustic version of the track.
The first devotees had started queuing to meet Stereo Kicks – Barclay, Chris, Casey, Jake, James, Charlie, Reece and Tom – even before the store opened this morning.
Was it worth it?
Total MK spoke to some of those who met the boys, and the smiles on their faces said it all.
Chloe, Tia and Loren were thrilled with by their time with the band.
“We had such a good time meeting them!” Chloe told us.
“We gave Barclay a flamingo soft toy, as he has a flamingo tattoo!”
Samantha Smith also queued to meet the band: “Barclay is my favourite member and it was lovely to see him again, and sweet that he remembered me as I've been a fan of his since he was a solo artist, along with Tom and Jake.
“I've met them before, but far too briefly. It was nice they could be more interactive this time.”
As for that single performance?
“They were brilliant as usual!” she added.
"It was such an amazing day," said Lucy Wescombe, "The boys are all so lovely and down to earth. Me and my friend Sophie had such a great time meeting them!"
Sophie added: "I have met most of the boys a few times now and they are always so genuine and down to earth...they always make an effort to have a proper chat with you and it's lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed it with Lucy."
