World famous musicianLeland Sklar (Ray Charles), Pedro Segundo and Gabriella Swallow (Skunk Anansie) will join her for the show.  Judith went On Track with Total MK...

The song that first awakened your musical senses
Superstition - Stevie Wonder

Physical or digital - how do you take your music?
Any way but vinyl whenever possible.

The first time you thought 'Music - this is the job for me'
When I saw the joy on my Opera singer father's face every time he sang

Your best on stage memory...
Watching him as a little kid on stage at ROH Covent Garden.

And the worst gig you've ever done
Probably the one where an Irish drunk hit me over the head with a beer bottle and knocked me out cold.

I was playing in the midst of a crammed jazz dive and yes he was having a "discussion" with his best friend!

What made you take up singing
I had no choice. Singing was the language of my house and nothing else ever felt as good!

Which one song by another artist do you wish you'd have written
Big Bottom – Spinal Tap

And one - by yourself - which holds special significance
‘No More Goodbyes’ from Somebody's Child a song about gratitude and letting go at the end of life. A total weeper...

If you could step into the shoes of another musician, living or dead, who would it be and what would you do?
Rachmaninov. Just to have those hands and that level of genius for one day.

Are there any current musical influences that you might look to
The same ones that have always been in my life - Classical, Jazz, Folk, Blues, Rock, Pop, it's all one language and great is great in every style.

And any genre of music that you simply can't stand?
I have to admit to an internal struggle with German polka!

Finally, plug your show at The Stables in Milton Keynes - what can we expect?
An emotional roller coaster of a show. You'll laugh, cry and feel thoroughly connected and entertained when you leave. (Plus you get to see the legendary Leland Sklar on bass) Seriously, if it wasn't my own show I'd be buying tix!

In truth I love the stables. I brought my show with Ruby Wax "Losing It" there and recently guested with Julia Fordham and Nell Brydon.

It's always a special evening...I can't wait!
