The third weekend of Music in the Garden is another cracker this weekend (June 28 & 29), and starts with Allison Neale (above) and the show Neale meets Steele.
Altoist
Allison and her 'poised and elegant West Coast influences combine with vibraphonist
Nat Steele's East Coast bebop to create a musical tension perfectly balances by their sizzling rhythm section.'
If you fancy that, you'll need to be up and out bright and early on Saturday - show time in
Wavendon's Rectory Gardens is 11.30am.
Then, from 2.30pm
John Bird (below) - of Bremner, Bird and Fortune fame - will be cutting loose for a solo session of comedy with tall tales aplenty - some true, others trueish!

Pianist and composer
James Pearson will be on hand with his trio to develop some of the themes and also show off his own invention - expect lots of surprises.
On Sunday, the ridiculously talented
Christian Garrick and
Peter Fisher (below) will be rekindling the fiddling relationship of Grappelli and Menuhin - two of the 20th century's most celebrated violinists, at 2.30pm.
