The 'purrfect' night out is only a whisker away - the Hot Cat Club returns tomorrow at MK Social.
Brought to you by the super-successful Gin Fizz brand, the rock n roll fiesta that has sizzled with pop-up events all over the city, The Hot Cat Club is about the art of the dance.
And don't worry if you can't cut the goods on the dance floor - that's what the When Rock n Roll Met Swing Jumpin' Jive dance class is all about.
And trust us, it's harder to say that than it is to find your groove!
“We set up The Hot Cat Club off the back of our successful The Jump Joint events. There was a demand from our revellers who wanted to learn how to dance,” GF owner Viv Doolan explained.
“We've held mini dance classes at events before, but we have now decided to develop this further into a stand-alone event.”
And to get the moves across, they've employed Bedford-based movers The Swingters to get you ready to strut and bop on the floor
The dance class precedes the record hop with Swing, Jive and Rock n Roll classics taking you through to the early hours at the Theatre District location.
If you already command on the dance floor, no worries, you can forgo the class at 7.30pm and rock up in time for the record hop at 8.30pm
And if you love the songs and sounds of an different era but are too shy to move to the beats, you can still pop along and enjoy an earful of music. And besides, MK Social have a spectacular array of cocktails to entertain you in a liquid refreshment kinda way!
“Whether you want to come on your own or as couple, the Hot Cat Club is open to all,” Val added.
“Everyone is welcome and no-one is left out.”
Tickets for the class and the hop are £12, or for the hop alone £8.
