Boris Johnson was shown around the Lime e-scooter workshop on a visit to Milton Keynes yesterday.
The Prime Minister chatted to the engineers who service the scooters, and even took the opportunity to take one for a ride.
As part of the year-long trial in the town, it is legal to ride an Lime e-scooter anywhere you are allowed to ride a bike.
They are being championed as an environmentally-friendly and safe way to get around.
MPs Ben Everitt and Iain Stewart joined the PM for the visit to the Lime workshop at Bradwell Abbey.
Ben said: “It was awesome to get out on the e-scooters with the PM. Milton Keynes is a world-leader in tech and future transport. I want us to be the next Silicon Valley.”
