Parts of Furzton Lake are currently closed to the public, and there is police activity in the area after the discovery of an item of clothing.
A police spokesman told Total MK: "Thames Valley Police is currently at Furzton Lake in Milton Keynes, following a report of an item of clothing in the lake.
"Until the item is removed from the lake we cannot confirm whether the item of clothing is in any way connected to the investigation into the disappearance of Leah Croucher, or any other investigation."
