Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of grievous bodily harm which took place in Milton Keynes.
At around 8pm on Monday (September 23) the victim, a 21-year-old-man, left the YMCA building in Milton Keynes where six men approached him outside. Three of the men produced weapons which were a machete, a screwdriver and a blade.
They asked the victim if he had any drugs to sell, but stabbed him after he told them he didn’t.
The victim was then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with a chest wound and a punctured lung, as a result of the stabbing.
The offenders were described as a group of six black and white males, all of whom were wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kay O’Connor of Force CID in Milton Keynes, said: “We believe this was an isolated incident, however I am appealing for witnesses to this assault, after which the victim has required hospital treatment.
“It took place in a public area, where there could be potential witnesses and I would like to appeal to them.
“I would ask that anyone who witnessed this incident, or saw the victim following the incident, to come forward and speak to police.
