The Hair and Skin Clinic MK will host a prostate cancer screening event in Sherington in February, and is inviting all men aged 40 and over in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas to register for the simple PSA test.
Prostate cancer is a serious health concern for men, often developing silently. Early detection is key to successful treatment, making regular PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) tests essential. Attending the screening event is a proactive step towards men safeguarding their health.
The Hair and Skin Clinic is partnering with MK Prostate Cancer Charity for the event, with limited spaces available. There will be a charge of £25 towards the cost of the test.
As a long-standing member of the Milton Keynes community, the clinic is committed to the health and well-being of its patients.
"We encourage all men in Milton Keynes and and surrounding areas to prioritize their health and take advantage of this opportunity to get screened for prostate cancer. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against this disease," said organiser Mark Periclis.
The testing will take place on Sunday, February 16, at the Hair and Skin Clinic, 1 Mercers Manor Barns, Sherington. Milton Keynes MK169PU.
Parking is free, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed. Pop along for the test, enjoy a coffee and a chat and know that you are looking after your health.
