Tiffield watering-hole The George is holding a day of music in support of the charity Dogs for the Disabled.
The charity transforms lives, 'creating exceptional partnerships between people living with disability and specially trained assistance dogs.'
A dog can offer freedom and independence to children and adults with physical disabilities, and children with autism.
Sunday's event (May 24) may be a little drive away (Tiffield is close to Towcester), but heck, it is very deserving of your support, and there's a BBQ too, so you can fill up on music and food, from noon.
It is a chance for you to meet some of the team behind LEJOG - Convoy for Canines, who will shortly be heading out on the road for an epic journey.
On June 6, a 1963 Massey Ferguson tractor and trailor (lovingly restored by Steve Moore) together with a posse of cyclists, will set out to complete that famous journey from Lands End to John O'Groats.
The plan is for the team to arrive triumphant in the Scottish village, on Wednesday, June 17, having raised a stack load of cash for the charity.
Even if you can't join them at the pub this weekend, or at any point on the journey, you can still show your support by donating at www.justgiving.com/lejogconvoyforcanines
