centre:mk will launch SS17 with two days of live catwalk shows, beauty demonstrations, style advice and delicious food this weekend - with more than 40 retailers taking part.
The event will run on Saturday (April 29, 11am-5pm) and Sunday (April 30, midday-4pm), with 15-20 minute exclusive daily catwalk shows happening on the hour, every hour, all weekend in the centre’s event space, Middleton Hall.
Now in its fifth year, the two-day fashion-themed event will be celebrating the new season collections and key looks for both womenswear and menswear.
There will be an exciting line-up of over centre:mk’s top brands , including John Lewis, Jigsaw, Dr. Martens, Hobbs and JD Sports.
Sunday will also see centre:mk’s charity of the year, Age UK, participate in the fashion show for an afternoon of fun at midday and 1pm, where a selection of volunteers from the charity over the age of 55 will make their way down the catwalk styled in John Lewis favourites.
For those shoppers wanting to give back, there will be a collection point at the centre for clothing donations to the Milton Keynes charity.
A pop-up beauty station for shoppers to pick up the best buys for the season, hosted by Kiko, L’Occitane, Molton Brown and The Body Shop will also take attentions.
In addition, the centre will be launching a street market in Queens Court, which will take place the last weekend of each month up to the end of October.
The area will be decorated with deck chairs and grass, where shoppers will be able to enjoy a wide variety of different cuisines, from Thai and African street foods to French charcuterie and cheeses.
