Dance was celebrated in its most beautiful form this afternoon, with an explosive set of works danced in and around Milton Keynes Gallery and Campbell Park.
The theme of the Motus 2015 festival was Response, and the promenade performance began in the gallery hub before transferring to the Margaret Powell Square, the River Sculpture, The Object and at various points en route to the Light Pyramid and Walkway.
The artwork contained within each area was used as a stimulus by the dancers to inform their artistic response relating to the work performed. And the results showed the human form working its creative side while spilling an emotional trail spanning fragility to strength.

Hundreds of people followed the moving spectacle from position to position, and were duly wowed by creators including Parlor Dance and Nocturn Dance, Julia Cheng, Motus Mini Makers, Club Mob, Zoielogic Dance Theatre, Chloe Tasker, Ceyda Tank, Helen Parlor, Initiate YDC, Charlie Brittain and Tamzen Moulding.
Our response? Motus were truly marvellous.
