Hula Animal Rescue is hosting a Purrrfect Open Day this Sunday (August 14) which means puddy-tats are in the spotlight.
As part of the plans, a cat welfare presentation will be given, but not everything happening will be about our cozy companions who always bag the best seats in the house!
The traditional, much-loved Hula Dog parade will lead off at 2.30pm, and kids of all ages can spend a little and enjoy a whole lot of fun by betting their faces painted as their favourite animal.
The on-site shop and Pet Bed Shed bargains will take attentions and refreshments will be served in the Trough Cafe.
Admission is £2 for adults, kids go free.
Hula - based at Glebe Farm in Aspley Guise - put welfare first with all the animals in its care, and to minimise stress while they await their forever homes, the centre keeps the animal houses closed on event days. Just so as you know.
