Here's your chance to make a difference at Linford Lakes Nature Reserve.
Over the course of the morning of Saturday October 26 Thr Parks Trust will be improving access to nature for all.
Some of the tasks will include clearing the main paths and opening views from the warbler bird hide. They will also have easier tasks including sweeping boardwalks, bird hides and re-stocking the bird feeders. Families are welcome and there will be tasks suitable for all ages.
Make a Difference Day was established to help encourage people to take one day per year to try and make a difference in the world.
If you can spare a couple of hours, to help tidy up the reserve and improve the unique mix of special habitats for the amazing wildlife found in this area, join the efforts between 10am- 12.30pm.

Linford Lakes Nature Reserve was established as a wildfowl research centre in 1970 following decades of mineral extraction in the area. It is widely regarded as the most biodiverse site in Milton Keynes.
The 37-hectare site consists of a large lake, reedbeds, wet woodland and several small meadows interlaced with a number of smaller lakes and ponds.
Four bird watching hides are located giving fine views of the wildlife and beautiful scenery. The lakes attract a good variety of wildfowl and passage wading birds and breeding birds include Barn Owl, Cuckoo and Common Tern.
Arrive dressed for outside work, sturdy shoes/boots and come prepared for wet weather.
Parking and toilets are available at Linford Lakes Education Centre, Wolverton Road, Great Linford, MK14 5AH. Light refreshments will be available and guided walk of the reserve will take place at the end of the session.
