The Sculpture Gallery, part of the prestigious Woburn Estate, in association with The Royal British Legion will once again be honouring Remembrance Sunday (November 13) with a performance of ‘War Notes from Woburn’ and a traditional two course lunch.
Lili la Scala, known as ‘The Songbird of Trafalgar Square’, will delight guests with a repertoire of vintage songs accompanied by pianist Tom Carradine.
Following the remembrance service at St Mary’s Church, Woburn, tea and coffee will be available from 11:30am with the opportunity to view The Woburn Estate’s World War I private archive collection inclusive of letters sent from Bedfordshire soldiers, on display at The Sculpture Gallery.
Tickets for this event are £26.50 per person with no charge for World War II veterans.
