You might think that flower power is a slogan and movement from the 1960's, and you would be right, of course.
But it also perfectly sums up events happening in Stony Stratford this weekend (June 27 & 28).
Biennial event Stony Open Gardens will once again raise money for Willen Hospice, and it raises a pretty penny too - in 2013 organisers handed over a check for eight and a half thousand pounds.
In all, 29 gardens will be open to the public, varying in size and shape, and taking in front and back spaces.
Some are open to the public for the first time, and and there will be two groups of allotments and a variety of courtyard and wildlife gardens taking part.
Extensive music and artistic contributions, pottery, a wind quartet, fiddle players, art installation and exhibition of work at York House will also figure under the banner - including an exhibition by members of the MK Society of Artists, being held at Swinfen Harris Hall.
Admission is by programme which costs £5 and allows access both days, from midday.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from Odells, Lesley Arkin Optometrist and the Willen Hospice shop, all in the High Street.
