In support of a vibrant community providing a meaningful working life for adults with learning difficulties Camphill MK Communities will host its Winter Craft & Food Fayre on Saturday (November 11) at its Willen Park base.
Alongside their very own artisan baked good, preserves, honey and vinegars, traditional textiles from the Weavery and a selection of unique arts & crafts, they will be joined by a further 30 local crafters, makers & artisans.
Expect original photography, creative bakes, soaps, locally roasted coffee, curry pastes, chutneys, jewellery plus local art demos by MKSA, Christmas gifts and home and fashion accessories and creative gifts made in-house within the Camphill workshops.
“Camphill communities have proud roots in creativity, art, craft and drama and our interest in creating community is in our name.
Our biannual Craft Fairs are a great opportunity to share our work, build relationships with fellow crafters from the local area and show off the creative skills of our residents and staff," said Tim Davies, CEO CMKC.
Refreshments will include freshly baked pizza and beverages and a raffle will take place at the end of the day to raise funds for the community.
If you're looking for special, locally made gifts and produce and want to meet local makers, crafters, artists and artisans, pop in and see what the vibrant community has to offer.
The event is open to everyone, and will run 10am to 4pm and entry is free.
