Alexandra Burke's latest habit - starring in Sister Act at Milton Keynes Theatre!

It'll only take the one performance to sucker you, and truly, Sister Act is very 'habit' forming!

From Monday (September 26), the all new production of the Broadway and West End smash hit comedy will be back on the Milton Keynes Theatre stage, and there's a familiar face starring as disco diva Deloris Van Cartier.

Alexandra Burke, last seen on the MK stage earlier this year in The Bodyguard, returns in her second plump role of 2016, as Deloris.

She is taken into protective custody after witnessing a murder, and is hidden in the one place she won't be found – a convent!
Disguised as a nun and under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.

Alexandra went straight to the top spot of the singles chart after winning the fifth series of The X Factor. Her cover of Hallelujah shifted in excess of one million copies here in the UK – a first for a British female soloist.  She followed that by touring with Beyonce.

Alexandra will take the lead in all Sister Act evening performances, and Joanna Francis will take on the role of Deloris for matinee showings.

It doesn't just look like a great production, and boast a cast of class; Sister Act flows perfectly thanks to choreography by Craig Revel Horwood.
Naturally, it's fab-u-lous, Darling!

Sister Act will play in MK through to October 1.
