English soprano Lesley Garrett will top the bill at this year’s Bedford Park Proms.
With her cross-over repertoire stretching from Mozart to Meat Loaf, and that wonderful voice, Lesley looks set to be a big draw at the annual event.
Lesley will be joined by tenor Jeff Stewart, who enjoys a busy international career, and is much in demand, both in opera and on the concert platform.
The show, taking place on August 5, will see more than 120 performers on stage, including a 70 piece choir and the London Gala orchestra.
The musical celebration will culminate with rousing favourites for flag-waving and singing along, including Rule Britannia and Land of Hope & Glory, as lasers and fireworks illuminate the skies.
