Revolucion de Cuba is giving work experience opportunities to several people from Milton Keynes-based charity, MacIntyre on Wednesday (September 7) - and the lucky participants are set to learn the art of mixology!
During the day, they will be taught how to make several classic cocktails, the skill of pouring, measuring and presentation.
But it doesn’t stop there.
They will then be put through their paces and serve customers on Wednesday night – the hugely popular salsa night!
Cocktails made by the work experience team will be sold for a donation to the charity on this evening only – but with all the training they’ll receive, customers will be hard pushed to tell the difference between Revolucion and MacIntyre’s made drinks!
“MacIntyre is a fantastic charity and we’re delighted to be working with them and offer equal opportunities for people with learning disabilities,” said Rob Macdonald, general manager at Revolucion de Cuba.
“Cocktail making is fun but does take a lot of skill to perfect. I have no doubt that by the time the team have finished with them, they’ll be pouring a Mai Tai Tom Cruise would be proud of!”
The evening will be attended by the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Steve Coventry.
