Buzz band of the moment, October Drift are heading for Bedford Esquires on Sunday (October 16) to show us what they are all about in the live.
Despite releasing just a handful of EPs, October Drift have already been compared to such alternative heavyweights as The National, Editors and The Pixies and are much loved by BBC 6Music, so much so that they were recently invited to play the radio station's very own music festival in Bristol.
The Somerset shoegazers live show will be brimming with guitars and atmospheric indie anthems and with a debut album set to be released in the new year this is likely to be the last time you will be able to catch them in a more intimate venue.
Should they follow in the musical footsteps of Muse, Coldplay, Elbow and Biffy Clyro who have all played the Bedford gig-haunt, this lot might just be headlining Glastonbury or Reading in a few years themselves...
Support will be courtesy of Stevenage’s Timeless Lizards, one of the most original and promising young bands from the Three Counties area of the past few years.
Tickets are £6.50 in advance, available here and directly from Esquires bar.
