Everyone knows that when it comes to amping things up, Marshall Amplification is the best you can get, but they are on the ball and bristling with brilliant ideas when it comes to charity endeavours too.
The Bletchley-based global brand has been an official backer of Movember for the past six years, which helps to raise awareness of some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.
From humble beginnings - just 30 people took part in the first annual Mo-Gorw event in 2003 - the number has swelled to five million annually, and since it launched, Movember has raised a massive £442 million.
Aside from the brand backing Movember in an official capacity, Marshall staff have also got stuck in with the fundraising, and have so far raised more than £7000 in 2016, by Mo-growing and participating in this weekend's Mo-Run.
“Marshall Amplification are proud to be involved with the Movember Foundation because it helps to raise awareness about men’s health,” said Marshall spokesman Rob Capel.
“Unfortunately, men would rather have their amplifier fixed than go to the doctors to talk about their health.
“With the Movember Foundation this is starting to change."
