Milton Keynes Theatre announces 'relaxed' performance of Dick Whittington

A relaxed performance of Mllton Keynes Theatre's perfect pantomime has been announced for the new year.

The ‘relaxed’ idea means it will be suitable for adults and children who would benefit from a more relaxed setting when attending the theatre - including people on the autism spectrum, people who make involuntary noises, people with learning disabilities, or just anyone who prefers a less formal environment when coming to see a production.

Of course the show is as good, as funny, as entertaining and as spectacular as at any other performance but the atmosphere in the auditorium is less formal than at a regular performance.

It’s the opposite of the ‘quiet carriage’ on the train – there’s a relaxed attitude to noise, movement and a few small changes to the sound levels and some lighting effects are made.

Last year’s relaxed performance of Aladdin was a huge hit, and Dick Whittington will be every bit the smash success on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017, at 1pm.
