Dates for the Diary: Milton Keynes Festival Fringe 2020 is go!

Get your diaries out - the dates for the Milton Keynes Festival Fringe 2020 are now confirmed.

The new city will celebrate colourful programme of events between July 13 and 19, 2020.

There is also change ahead for the Fringe, with the news that Emma Brookes is stepping down from her role as Chair.

Jessica Rost, Chair of the Board, MK Festival Fringe, said: "After many years serving on the board and over three years as Chair we are sad to see Emma Brookes step down from the Fringe.
"Emma has done an incredible job of steering the governance, whilst the Artistic Directors have been able to focus on the amazing creative output of the organisation.
"Initially bribed with vegan cake (or so the story goes), Emma took over the role from Jacky Scott in 2015 and steered the team through the challenge of delivering two festival Fringes, most notably supporting admin staff, providing yummy treats at meetings and introducing spread sheets to the team!
"Emma and her partner Dan have both been the greatest advocates of the Fringe. Moreover, they have become familiar audience members and much valued supporters of all the arts and culture in Milton Keynes.
"On behalf of the board, our members, artists, volunteers and the wider arts community in MK, we'd like to say a huge thank you to Emma and wish her well in all her future ventures."
