Great British Bake Off winner Nancy Birtwhistle will be serving up some Easter treats at Xscape on Saturday (April 4), as part of the centre's Spring Bake weekend.
Nancy will be hosting free Easter baking demonstrations in Xscape’s pop-up kitchen at 12noon, 2pm and 4pm, where she will revealing her top baking tips.
“I’m really excited to be demonstrating some of my favourite bakes at Xscape”, said Nancy. “Easter is a fantastic time of the year for baking; from hot cross buns and Simnel cake, to chocolate nests and Easter eggs, there’s something for all the family to get stuck into.”
Xscape will also be running a series of free Easter themed craft workshops from Friday 3 – Monday 6 April, 12-6pm, for more family fun this Spring holiday.
On Easter Sunday, Frankie and Benny’s will be taking over the pop-up kitchen, where the restaurant will be offering free samples of their delicious new dessert range and money off vouchers.
Frankie and Benny’s mascot, Sketch, will also be making a special appearance to help raise money for Rays of Sunshine, a charity that brightens up the lives of seriously ill children in the UK aged three to 18 years old.
“We’re delighted to have Nancy coming to Xscape for our Spring Bake and are looking forward to seeing what delicious bakes she’ll be demonstrating on Saturday”, said Ross Jordan, general manager of Xscape Milton Keynes.
“Our pop-up kitchen is a fantastic way for all the family to enjoy a fun day out for free this Easter weekend, as well as exploring what our range of restaurants, shops and leisure experiences have to offer.”
