MK MUSEUM HOSTS ITS ANNUAL COUNTRY FAIR THIS WEEKEND
Visit MK Museum this Sunday (July 13) for all the fun of the country fair.
The historical hub will be livening up the end of the week with a programme busy with country crafts and traditional skills.
There will be plenty of demonstrations of rural skills, including fence-making and woodturning, with the opportunity for you to show what you can do by trying out the skills for yourself.
Circus skills, Morris dancers, spinning and weaving and printmaking will take attentions, and there is always a goodie or two to be found at a craft fair...what will you find?
This is an opportunity to see how our predecessors lived, worked and thrived in this part of the county centuries before the new 'city' of Milton Keynes was the apple of its creator's eyes.
While there of course, you must take a look around the extensive museum and all of its exhibits - it really is a stunning look back in time, and one that won't cost a pretty penny.
A family ticket - for two adults and up to four children - is available at just £22.
Doors open at 11am and stay that way through to 4.30pm at the event, which is part of the Made in MK, Arts and Heritage season of events, in partnership with Total MK.
