Woburn Jazz Big Band will gather their sounds for a terrific concert at York House Centre this Friday (Dec 18).
'A fine evening of swinging classics from those big band days when people did proper dancing,' is promised by organisers, 'Evoking the sounds of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, the Dorsey Brother, Glenn Miller, but bringing you into recent times with music by the likes of Queen and Stevie Wonder!'
While the Big Band tickles your ears, there will be big drinking opportunities at the bar, tempting your tastebuds with real ale and cider, wines, lagers and soft drinks.
Tickets are another reason to bust out the moves on the dance floor – on sale for the cheap and very cheery figure of a fiver.
