On Thursday (December 13), Andy Collins, who is Warden at the Upper Ray Meadows and Calvert Jubilee will be the guest speaker at the RSPB North Bucks Group indoor meeting.
This will be particularly topical since these reserves will be affected greatly by the news of the choosing of Route B for the Oxford – Cambridge expressway.
As well as giving an update about this, Andy will give you an insight into two of the best reserves managed by our local BBOWT Wildlife Trust, the main habitats found there, the species they support and how BBOWT manages these sites to create the perfect conditions for wildlife to survive.
And, as always at the December meetings, the annual prize tickets will be drawn and you may even get a mince pie!
The indoor meeting will take place at The Cruck Barn, City Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey MK13 9AP. Doors open at 7.15 pm for a prompt start at 7.45 pm. Free coffee and tea are provided during the interval.
RSPB North Bucks Group members £3, all visitors welcome £4 and children £1.
