DJ BeeDeep has spent years perched at DJ booths, sharing his playability here at home in Milton Keynes, and around the world.
His name will be familiar to those who look to the dance side – BeeDeep was an Ultra Vegas resident, and has graced most venues around town.
Since he began two decades ago, BeeDeep has seen more than a few changes: “...back in the day we had Vegas and the Sanctuary which were massive places to party,” he recalls.
“Milton Keynes and the UK as a whole have mainstream clubs and local DJ's playing good music for the masses, but I would love to see MK promoters trying to bring back the vibe of Milton Keynes to a more underground scene, with one-off parties that are a little bit different from the mainstream norm!”
BeeDeep has expanded his own career recently too – over the past couple of years he has been producing material, and now has close to two dozen releases to his name.
He is signed to French label Jango Music and last month represented them on a trip to the dance haven of Ibiza.
“It was everything I expected,” he said, “Great music, a great vibe and the people all made the experience amazing.
“To play at the famous Bora Bora beach club was great and totally what Ibiza is all about – sunshine, planes flying above and great music.
“It was a great honour to be asked to DJ for them in Ibiza.”
He might be back on home soil, but BeeDeep isn't about to slow the rhythm: “I've a busy time ahead – a remix being released and eight more due in the coming few months.
“I'm also Djing in Amsterdam at the ADE festival in October, which I'm really looking forward to.”
