THEATRE4KIDS PRESENT ENDEARING FOLK STORY, TOM THUMB

The story of Tom Thumb was actually the very first folk story to be printed in English, way back in 1621.

The legend, set in the times of King Arthur with Celtic folklore remains a popular choice today, and if you need proof you can check in with a production at Stantonbury Theatre on Saturday (Feb 27).

Acclaimed company DNA Puppetry and visual theatre are bringing the tiny tale to the stage, in a show perfect for youngsters aged four years and up.

Follow Tom's magical journey from wizard Merlin and the Fairy Queen to his quest from King Arthur to defeat a fearsome dragon!

Celebrating nature, and with sensory play and participation, children are encouraged to explore their local natural environments, which we reckon is a great thing.

The Theatre4Kids event begins at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £9.50, (concessions £7.50), or take a family ticket for thirty quid.
